Loved the beautiful scenery around the hotel during Christmas. The location was perfect to enjoy walks with the family and get some fresh air. The heated ski and boot room was a life saver for our winter sports equipment. Rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff was generally helpful and friendly. Meals were delicious and good value for money.
The lounge/bar area was not comfortable enough for relaxing. The room was somewhat cold, and the heating could not be adjusted.

Impressive value for a good, clean room, a filling, well-prepared four course meal and a varied breakfast of breads, meats, cheeses and fruits.

Hotel staff is formed by a family and the youngest Marco is receptionist as well as waiter in the restaurant and technical person for computer or the sauna room. The friendliness demonstrated by Marco exceeded any expectation.The rooms are large with balcony and although the building is quite old stile outside, everything inside is new.
The access to second level is on a wooden stair which makes a specific noise when used.

This hotel in the mountains offers stunning views and is in a great location for outdoor activities like hiking and cycling. the staff is friendly and welcoming, and the food is delicious and locally sourced. They even have secure storage for expensive equipment like bikes. the rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean, and the laundry service is top-notch. a great value for money hotel for a city break.
The hotel can be difficult to find without proper driving instructions, so be sure to ask ahead of time. some of the plates used for the food can be very hot, so be careful when handling them.

A superb overnight stay on route to Italy. Very friendly family run hotel.The four course meal was excellent in both content and value. A longer stay would have been lovely.
